Appointments at LBF Podiatry

Any child (0-18 years) is welcome to visit us at Little Big Feet.

If you have concerns about your child's feet, ankles, gait or movement and feel your child needs assessment we would advise that you make an appointment by emailing or calling us or simply CLICK HERE TO USE OUR ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM.

We will allow enough time for the podiatrist to undertake a full assessment and address all of your concerns (usually a 45min appointment). In this case, it is best to bring in any shoes your child is currently wearing along with any diagnostic films (such as x-rays, MRI) or reports if applicable.

Visiting LBF is much like going to the dentist in that there's no referral necessary. When you contact us to make your appointment we'll happily discuss any fees that you may incur.

Fees

Please email or call our friendly reception staff to enquire about a fee schedule specific to your child.

Private Health Insurance and Medicare

We have HiCaps for on the spot claiming with your health fund. Some patients may be eligible for part cover through Medicare as part of the Enhanced Primary Care program. Patients will need to discuss their eligibility with their GP.

NDIS

Our podiatrists do accept NDIS patients under self-managed plans, as well as existing LBF patients who are transitioning to or already receiving NDIS funding. LBF is not currently accepting new NDIS patients (unless self-funded).

Cancellations

When appointments are booked, the appointment time is reserved especially for your child. We require a minimum of 24hours notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment without incurring a fee. This allows us to allocate your booking time to another child who may be on a waiting list. You may email or call anytime, even after hours, and leave us a message should you need to cancel or reschedule. We will call you back at our soonest convenience. A $50 cancellation fee will incur in the case that insufficient (less than 24hrs) notice is given. We understand that unexpected illnesses and emergencies can happen. In this instance please call us as soon as possible to explain your situation.
