Covid Vaccination Status for Visitors of LBF
Update as at 29/11/21
As a health setting, LBF follow's the Qld Government's healthcare setting guildelines. You can find a link to this website here. We appreciate that some patients and their families may be unvaccinated for various reasons, and through this evolving period we will continue to offer care via telehealth or onsite if a patient/carer meets the current guildelines.
We hope that you understand and are empathetic to this policy which is designed to protect our vulnerable patient population, many of whom visit our clinic.
We appreciate January is an especially difficult time of year for many families seeking appointments prior to school resuming, and urge you to consider the selection of an appointment time either prior to December 15th, or following you/ your child's second vaccination, to be sure of no conflict in the case that the Qld Health directive changes (see link above).
At this time, as this mandate effects both patients and carers/parents over 16years, and we ask that you consider which family members are to attend the patient's appointment.
As always, footwear fittings do not require an appointment, however please expect small delays during peak periods, as we reduce numbers inside the premesis.
We thank you for your understanding and continued support whilst we navigate these circumstances. Should you have any queries or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. Providing care to LBF patients is our highest priority. We will work with all families to ensure appropriate care is provided.
